VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, we invite you to join us at The Salvation Army Amphi Corps, 218 E. Prince Rd., for a fun and rewarding day as we help children and teens get ready for the new school year! 

​

Volunteers will help transform our space into a welcoming shopping experience for local families by assisting with event set-up, greeting guests, distributing backpacks, school supplies, clothing, and shoes, and helping everything run smoothly throughout the day. No special experience is needed - just a friendly smile and a willingness to lend a hand!

Volunteer Opportunities include:

:: Setting up tables, chairs, signs, and event stations
:: Sorting backpacks, school supplies, clothing, and shoes
:: Assisting families at shopping and distribution stations
:: Helping restock supplies during the event
:: Event clean-up and tear-down

Volunteer Schedule:​

:: 8:00 a.m.: Set-up begins (recommended arrival time)
:: 9:45 a.m.: Latest arrival time for event volunteers
:: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.: Back-to-School Distribution
:: 2:00–3:00 p.m. – Clean-up and tear-down

Whether you can help all day or arrive just before the event begins, your time will make a meaningful difference for local children as they prepare for a successful school year. Come spend the day giving back, making memories, and helping students start the school year feeling confident and ready to learn!
